Because of Mark's extensive experience, he has the ability to handle the conflict dynamics associated with financial, family, and personal disputes, which are often times very private and emotionally charged.
Mediation involves the parties meeting with an impartial and neutral person who assists them in resolving their differences.
If the parties are unable to agree on the amount of the property loss under an insurance policy, the parties may agree to use an Umpire to make a decision on the amount of the loss. If one of the parties agrees with the Umpire, the decision is binding, subject to all terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.
Mark’s practice focuses on mediation, arbitration and serving as an Umpire to resolve insurance policy disputes. He is a member of the Texas Board of Trial Attorneys, has an AV+ preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell, and is a Texas Super Lawyer in General Litigation.
